Jackie McKenna first graduated from Iowa State University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, and discovered her love for hairstyling while working the front desk at a salon in Ames, IA. After ISU, Jackie graduated from La'James International College of Hairstyling in 2008 and worked for 3 years at a high-end salon in West Des Moines. To fulfill entrepreneurial goals, she left the salon in 2011 and opened Jackie McKenna Hair Designs in her current location at Deer Creek Suites in Urbandale. She has been styling many local clients regularly for years, and always welcomes new clients!
