Almost two years to the day since I last posted here. But getting back on my health game and figured it might help me stay engaged if I posted here and see if anyone else is still out there and getting their health health focus tuned in.

Healthy and convenience can co-exist and as with all things there a trade offs. Meal prepping on the weekend has worked best for me in the past but when I am just going in too many directions and I can’t find that block of time to plan and prep… I’d much rather “splurge” a little for frozen meals than splurge more for dining out and grab and go for a work lunch or Grubhub etc… Much less expensive than Panera and subway for lunch. What are you go-to lunch choices?
Great thing about being at the gym at 5:30am? Not fully waking up u til at least ten minutes into the workout.
4am hitting the gym. Seemed like such a better idea last night. It’s going to be a long day. But at least I should be able to get more than 1 hr 22 minutes of sleep tonight. Anyone struggling with insomnia these days?

Trying to jump start myself into a healthy routine. I was great at the beginning of quarantine and then just figured “I’m not seeing anyone, who cares?” Not the best decision but it is what it is.
So now I’m not sure if today’s package is inspiring, intimidating, or just another package in the stream of online shopping.
Working towards inspired.... Monday kick off to Shaun T’s new program.

I don’t about you but Peloton’s marketing has me salivating at getting into the spin game. So I’m trying a budget hack with this bad boy. Did my first ride with the Peleton app (30 day free trial) today and was impressed! Downside is that sore bike seat butt from getting accustomed to the seat. 😆
It is only going to get colder from here on out. So I figured today was as good a day as another to get out for a run. I’ll need to invest in some cold running gear as time goes by but for now I can just layer up. At some points I truly didn’t even feel like I was moving forward let alone running. Lol. But my pace improved so... keep on trucking.
Pandemic realness?
Is anyone feeling this. We are headed into winter and darker days and more isolation to help keep friends and family safe. Well truly to keep everyone we would come in contact with safe. But mentally and physically I’m not where I need to be. Mentally pretty good right now but knowing it is going to get harder.
I started out this thing way back in March motivated to eat better and move more and the scale responded. And then after months I just stopped and are what I wanted (mostly comfort foods and desserts) and let my inactivity fester.
I had every intention of hitting September with renewed focus but... 🦗 💤 and more 🍨.
But I need to get back on track so I can be in a good routine once winter fully sets in. Anyone feeling the same? 🙋🏼♀️🙋♂️🙋🏼
