One of my favorite recent transformations. And we’ve had some big ones! When my client came to me and said she’s over the black and wants to be her natural red again, I freaked with excitement! Her natural color is 𝙨𝙤 rare! Preserving her natural color and integrity was my #1 goal. Lifting the black off without shifting her natural underneath was going to be a challenge, especially because I’ve only been doing her approx 1 year and had couldn’t predict how evenly things would lift. 𝗽𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝟭: @malibucpro Color Disruptor + CPR. We didn’t notice much a shift in color, but at the very least we’re softening the canvas for an easier more predictable lift. After the last clarifying shampoo we applied @f18hair 40 vol right on top of her wet hair and worked it in with our hands before combing through. We watched as the black lifted unbelievably even, stopping to rinse before it got to the yellow phase. Today she will come back with clean dry hair and we will do some detail color work to even out the canvas and add some subtle dimension! Then time for the real fun: 24” @waterfallbeadedrows + K-Tips 😍 Special shout out to my long time friend @beauty_by_bekks for saving my life and being an extra set of hands through this service!
