You guys, MARIAH - Vacaville Haircut & Color Specialist and I have started the process of swatching every single Cosmic Void that exists. That’s about EIGHTY colors…..we love it. Holy hell. Here’s the thing, we can see every little variation in those 4 pinks that look identical. And even thought it doesn’t seem like a huge deal, it’s huge to us! We get why you need a cooler toned pink versus a warmer one. So this is the beginning of us nerding out, investing in a color line that makes a difference in this world, and also is a hit of dopamine for us haircolor girlies! Look at that ART of 25 color brushes in the shampoo bowl. It doesn’t get better than that!

Okay not my typical cute post with a pose outside of Studio 524 😮‍💨 I have been STRUGGLING to find a grey coverage like that I enjoy. And today I took a chance on some R+COLOR | Hair Color by R+Co and might be swapping my whole life over. Banding!? Not here honey. Grey coverage? She ain’t playing! And I did a low light with the cream Demi….she was soooo creamy! Not to mention it wasn’t all a pain in the ass to wash out. IYKYK. I know I post this babe every time I do her hair, but it’s just SO GOOD!!!! Keeping blonde hair long AND simultaneously bright isn’t the easiest of things. But she treats her hair like gold, and I take my sweet ass time making sure I don’t overlap and harm her hair. When I tell you a tedious highlight is my fave, 🙋🏼‍♀️😘 this time tho, we added a melted low light. Brighter AND darker, still low maintenance. If there’s a hair issue, I can help babe!

365 days of fun color! I think many people have been able to see a transition into the most Jamie JAMIE you’ve ever seen. And it has to do with MANY things! A full year of planning my next steps and using what I have to create the next. Seems like a dual meaning sentence to me! 😘 I also can say, somehow I can adapt to any color, and I’m thankful as heck for it. I learned recently that I’m not a fan of pink on me, and I enjoy colors that aren’t typical. HOW AQUARIUS OF ME. This next 365 days might not be as chaotic with colors, but I think the hidden message in all of this is that you don’t have to know exactly who you are, the whole point is the journey. 🥹 Although I’m gonna be so real, I’m pretty much just a 34 year old 15 year old. I hope she would have thought I was kinda cool 🤘🏻

GUYS sometimes this is the reality of my day! HUGE chop, two drinks opened up at 10 am and less than half finished by 4:45 when I picked my kiddo up.🫤 Bandaids out because I am CLUMSY. And just an overall chaotic vibe to the Salon Goblins room! But today went by in a flash! Did I get any pictures of hair, NOPE. But there was nothing but good times all day, and I’ll be back tomorrow to do it all over again! I might not be constant on here posting my people with dope hair, but I am CONSTANTLY at the salon! That’s why you pick a career you love, it truly is something that makes my soul happy! Also shout out to Erin Marie 524 and her kiddo for showing me this song 😎

I keep going back to this summertime sherbet hair that somehow is also a gemstone! I’m so tempted to make my split dye something like this. OH also! I am a FIRM believer in making your life easier. So was this a lengthy appointment?? Yes! But will she have to come back anytime soon?????? NOT UNLESS SHE WANTS TO!

Honestly got nothing crazy to say on here other than we have some R+Co products at Studio 524 and every single day feels like Christmas trying the new goodies out! Refresh for your curls? Hell yea they got a product for that. I have been loving trying them out on myself (see here where I used DALLAS for volume and zig zag for some extra texture).

It’s been a fun few weeks and now I’m in the swing of summer break. S**t is WEIRD and I have to keep to a schedule that’s not too flexible bc childcare! So anyways here’s a selfie! I took it today!
