PMU vs Traditional Tattoo depth 🪡

✅ Permanent Makeup (PMU) is implanted close to the surface of the skin, just below the epidermis into the upper dermis layer.

✖️Traditional tattoos are implanted deeper into the dermal layer of the skin.

✅ PMU is meant to gradually fade over time as our skin sheds its outermost layers every month.

✖️Traditional tattoos are deposited deeper, as they are meant to remain in the skin forever.

Girrrrrrrrl!! I’ve seen you pull up to your appointment with ☕️ in hand 🤦🏻‍♀️ please NO CAFFEINE for 12 hours prior.

🗣 This is NOT a traditional body tattoo, those rules do not apply….The reason I say do NOT drink any caffeine/alcohol is because it will increase any oozing or swelling (along with other factors) after the procedure, so stay away a day/night before your procedure 🧐 Building lymph fluid on the brows is no bueno. You will have detailed instructions AND a full kit to take care of the eyebrows. Failure to follow will result in infection and loss of pigment.
