It’s basically giving Hayley Williams and maybe even some Daphne Blake. 💛❤️🩷🧡 I swear if we did a small pop of teal or turquoise or greenish it would be straight up Scooby Doo Mystery Machine and I am all about it 😉

Maggie Mari Murdock wanted to do this oil slick rainbow halo atop her precious mullet and I was sooo excited. As she sat in the chair and we were getting ready to start I go, “oh so this is my first halo you know..” she’s like OH WOW GREAT!!!

Luckily we both trust each other as artists and she knows I wouldn’t let her leave with effed up hair. 💁🏻‍♀️

Little did either of us know that she would get stopped on the street more than she ever has in her life because of this hair color and style. 🥹 brings a tear to my eye fr and heals my imposter syndrome a bit. 🫶🏻

When you want calico hair but you have to tone it down for the JOB 🙄🙄🙄

I don’t know about you guys, but it’s literally 2026… can we please get over the notion that “fun colored” hair is “unprofessional” 😒🫠

I remember being a kid and teen and hearing how dying your hair “crazy colors” makes you look un-hireable and always being so confused.. like WHY. Hair is one of the best ways to express yourself!

sO aNyWaYs.. here we did a soft calico using the color she had previously and adding in some deep red and soft caramel highlights 🫶🏻 we did sneak in a little raccoon tail moment and a couple bold color pieces in her bangs. ❤️💛🤎🐈🦝 also I was fighting for my absolute LIFE with this dang lighting so I feel like none of the videos match 🙃 someone teach me about exposure and stuff 🥲

Literally a whole different head of hair now. Love that I got to bring the green up and back to life. But we still kept it dimensional and lived in for a lower maintenance routine. (Even though vivids are typically high maintenance, talk to me about what we can do for lower maintenance vivid care 😉)

bleached out the ends.. we weren’t going for polished, we were going for bold and fun.

We knew we needed some raccoon tails in there so we did one on either side of her bangs to really frame the look and pull it all together.

suddenly she couldn’t stop flipping her hair, her energy post service was magnetic.
like she’d been waiting for this version of herself

We shaped up her mullet, added mega texture, carved out some pixie sideburns, and kept the fringe bold. Oh.. and not to mention the perfect swampy grunge green for my friend & favorite tattoo artist 🖤💚🧟‍♀️🧙🏻‍♀️

We bleached out those tips and finished with 𝖈𝖍𝖗𝖔𝖒𝖆𝗗𝗔𝗗𝗗𝗬 Rat Poison 🐀☠️🤢 and muted it down with some Vintage Peach 🍑

sometimes all it takes is a new perspective ✨

she came looking for a new stylist after a couple color corrections at other salons that just didn’t work out. She was feeling stuck with brassy tones, a harsh grow out line, and not a LICK of dimension 😭

Soooo we brightened her up with some more neutral tones highlights, added lowlights for contrast, and melted her root for a softer, more blended grow out.

now the color speaks, the blend whispers, and the dimension is making noise
