Education: This may not look like much but she was platinum blonde other than a 1 inch root. Sure I could have taken the easy route and foiled in some lowlights to match her new growth but by darkening that many levels it doesn't react to sunlight the same way natural hair does. It can look dull and fade quickly. My plan of action was to foil in reverse balayage from her new growth to her midshaft in increments of 2 levels using golds/coppers to fill her hair back with the pigment it naturally had before I took it out. Then when I got close to the level I wanted I used a natural tone to match her new growth. The outcome....😍 I couldn't have created this look without
