Tonight we are showcasing Lori! But so am going to let you hear it from her :)

Lori: I’m an LCSW and a Play Therapist in training at South Georgia Autism Center in Thomasville, GA, specializing in working with Autistic and neurodiverse individuals. My approach is rooted in client-centered therapy and the power of play, creating interactive, meaningful connections in a safe and supportive space. I believe that healing and growth come from being truly seen and accepted. I strive to offer that to every client I meet.

My vibe? A little different, on purpose. I bring creativity, color, and compassion into every session. When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll probably find me with a fresh look from Miranda (she always nails my wild hair ideas) that matches the vibe of my vibrant tattoos. Because for me, therapy should feel as human, expressive, and real as we are.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce Anastasia, a high school science teacher, and great friend of mine, who is currently enrolled in a doctoral program. She is a multifaceted individual, serving not only as an educator but also as a mother, wife, and Navy veteran. Anastasia’s unconventional style, which sets her apart from other teachers, does not detract from her teaching prowess.

We have changed what we have done color wise in her hair throughout the years, but it is always the tried and true Joico color intensity and Danger Jones that has helped us achieve these looks.

Today we are spotlighting Nicole Conway! A famous young adult author that has a knack for capturing her audiences! Not only is she a brilliant writer, but she was so fun to talk with and very down to earth.

As for her beautiful hair, she shared with me her aspiration to become a bright blonde and add a hint of fashion color. However, she was apprehensive about achieving a pastel purple shade, worried that it would lose its vibrancy after just a couple of washes. Thus, we opted for a deeper color that would allow for a more gradual transition to a pastel color in the long run.

Today, we’re showcasing Taylor (she/her), a dedicated special education para-professional and mother of three. She also volunteers and fosters for The Humane Society. Given her busy schedule, braids with extensions are a practical solution, allowing her to explore vibrant colors without the upkeep of frequent hair coloring.

Exploring various methods for incorporating fashion colors has been an exciting experience. I will be looking into more methods soon, so be on the lookout!

This lovely human is one of my sister in laws. Santanna is a sweet kind hearted person that continues to show her strength all the time.

She is a warehouse worker for a large chain store. She continues to always show strength and perseverance in a male dominated area for work!

Normally we like to shave the bottom part of her hair to get some relief and we have done the purple a few times now. Santanna I really appreciate you letting me do your hair and you being part of the family forever 🙂

Today we are introducing Desiree.

I remember when we made this look we talked about making it a vibrant Arizona sunset look! We got this look using Joico color intensity. She has such a fun loving spirit about her.

Desiree was a Master Trades Person 2 working with the Navy as a contractor on the ships, updating their data cables for their training systems, she was traveling to the ports they needed her at. Which included Norfolk, and Kings bay.

To be transparent Desiree has made the decision to forgo fashion colors as a result of her move and her local hairdresser not specializing in them. And there is nothing wrong with that. We respect and love that she prioritizes her hair health and loves herself no matter what color her hair is.

Most recently she was a Low Voltage Foreman in Chandler AZ at the Intel Site in charge of teams to install Intels phones, modems and data racks.

Allow me to introduce Irene (she/her), a remarkable person who showcases her individuality through an array of hair colors. After completing her hair, Irene shared her sentiment, saying, “I feel like myself again. Honey I’m homeeeeee!” Her exceptional abilities include designing 3D printed items, shirts, cups, and vinyl stickers.
