I can still hear the words from another woman — “you’ll never make a living off of doing freelance makeup, honey..”

To be honest—makeup has never been about swimming in dollar bills for me. I always did pretty decent in school.. but nothing really interested me enough in the traditional route to stick with it. So I found another path.

But I could tell I felt the need to connect with others more on a different level—a creative & deeper one.

I noticed the feeling I experienced when I was able to make others see what I see when I look them.. bringing out those little features with a brush, that they may not have been aware of felt like a super power sometimes. The reactions and tears of joy sometimes from clients literally filled me up 🥹

I feel blessed to say I’m still doing what I love to do. I get to create using my hands and brushes while meeting the most wonderful people along the way.

God is great.
