Open Today, Thursday, August 13th
We hope everyone is safe and well. Today, we are reopening after a few days of closure due to a power outage. While we are still in clean-up mode at the store, you can still find all the items you need.

This morning, please enter through the South driveway, which is closest to Highway 30. We aim to remove the fallen tree from the North driveway by 1 PM today. Thank you for your understanding!

Like everyone, we are trying to work through the aftermath of yesterday’s storm. We still don’t have power but after a three hour saga this morning we secured gas. The generator is up and running and all of our freezers are refrigerators are good to go. The animals are all doing great. The goats are getting plenty of leafy branches and the chickens are getting extra treats when the rain stops. Thankfully all of the trees that dropped fell away from the house. Now it’s time to cut some wood.
We hope that you are all staying safe and doing the best you can in this difficult situation.

Had a great goat walk today with Girl Scout Troop 35796. All of the goats got out and spent time with these sweet girls.

Tomorrow, you will only find us at our on-site Farm Store. This week, we are highlighting a few of our meat suppliers. Visit the link below to read about Beeler's Pork, which has been raising heritage pigs since 1946. We also carry Wisconsin Meadows Beef, a cooperative that offers only Grass-Fed, Pasture-Raised Beef. The chicken you can purchase from us is considered the best by American Test Kitchen, a food review show on Channel 11. To learn more, visit the link below.

Farmers Market Sales Person Needed

Our dearest Liz and Moss have been with us for years and are family to Robert and me. Liz is expanding her family and will be taking her maternity leave starting September 19th. Our wonderful, creative Moss is back at Ball State for her third year, mid-August. We are so proud and happy for both of them, but we need to get through to the end of the Farmers Market Season.

We wanted to reach out to our loyal supporters first with this amazing opportunity.

Time Frame: Starting September 5th through the end of October, and potential holiday markets too.

Requirements: Great personality, product knowledge or willingness to learn, availability on Saturday mornings and afternoons, and a vehicle large enough to store the product bins and folding tables.

If you are interested in knowing more, please reach out to us by emailing us at [email protected]

+++ PLUS Featured Meat: The Spicy Italian Sausage (buy two, the third is 25% off). More info will be posted about this tomorrow.
