If you know us, you know things around here are rarely quiet 😂 Between the caffeine, conversations happening across the salon, the laughter, and the beautiful chaos behind the chairs, Shear Elegance has always felt more like family than just a salon. And with some exciting things coming soon… this felt like the perfect time to share a little more about the women behind it all.
Shear Elegance has always been more than just a “job” to us. It’s a place where friendships are built, life stories are shared, happy tears are cried, and people leave feeling a little more confident than when they walked in. Around here, clients become family and honestly, that’s our favorite part of what we do.
So here’s a little bit about us:
✨ Christy — Owner & Stylist
With 32 years behind the chair, Christy has built Shear Elegance into the warm, welcoming place it is today. She loves all things beautiful, vintage, and unique — from hair and fashion to antiques and tablescapes. Her heart for making people feel confident extends far beyond the salon walls, especially through her involvement with the Senior Center and the community she loves so much. Family means everything to her… especially Miller, her favorite human ever 🤍
✨ Shannon — Stylist
With nearly 20 years in the beauty industry, Shannon brings authenticity, creativity, and a whole lot of talent into every appointment. Whether it’s seamless dimensional color, vivid transformations, or corrective work, her goal is always to help people feel confident and fully themselves. Her “what you see is what you get” personality creates a space where everyone feels welcome, comfortable, and seen. Outside the salon, she loves family, running, antique shopping, and continuing to grow in her faith and personal life ✨
✨ Shelby — Stylist
Shelby specializes in lived-in color, extensions, and effortless beauty that keeps clients feeling confident long after they leave the salon. She’s passionate about healthy hair, continued education, and making every appointment feel personal, fun, and comfortable. Outside the salon, she loves spending time with family and friends, a little retail therapy, and channeling her creative ADHD brain into fresh ideas and inspiration 💅✨
