🚨 Please pray for Dixie. 🙏🏼
Unfortunately, she has taken a turn backwards and is back in the ICU. Her blood pressure is critically low, along with her potassium and sodium levels, and there is concern about a possible infection.
She is currently in ICU and we are waiting on the results of a CT scan.
Please keep Dixie covered in prayer. She has already fought so hard, and we need all the prayers we can get right now. Pray for answers, for her numbers to stabilize, for her strength, and for the doctors and nurses caring for her. 🙏🏼❤️
I’ll update everyone as soon as we know more.

Holy smokes 🔥
Today I was able to spend some time with Dixie and take her the money and donations we’ve all been saving from doing her clients while she’s been out. She was so emotional because, right now, she has no income. Every dollar is helping her keep up with things like her car payment and utilities, and it has been such a blessing to her. She asked me to please keep praying for them , so I’m asking you too!
She is still very weak and can barely sit up without assistance. Recovery is going to be a long road, but she is fighting every day.
Please continue to keep Dixie in your prayers. Pray for strength, healing, patience, and encouragement as she takes one step at a time.
If God places it on your heart to help, we are still accepting donations for Dixie. Every contribution, no matter the amount, goes directly to her and helps ease the financial burden while she focuses on healing.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed, donated, sent messages, and supported her during this difficult season. It truly means more than words can express. ❤️ We love our Dixie Dawn
♥️Dixie update♥️
As of Wednesday, Dixie officially moved to rehab. ❤️ She’s working hard every day to get stronger and back to being herself. Thank you all for the continued prayers, love, and support. Please keep them coming as she continues her recovery. 🙏
GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!

After a lot of prayer and thought, I’ve decided that I won’t be hosting my annual Back-to-School Free Haircut Day this year.
This wasn’t an easy decision. Since 2008, it has been one of my favorite traditions and one of the ways we’ve tried to love on our community. Back when our town had around under 2000 people, there was a tremendous need, and I was honored to help however I could.
Over the years, I was blessed to have talented stylists volunteer their time right alongside me. Their generosity helped make this event possible, and I couldn’t have done it without them.
Eighteen years later, our town looks very different. We’ve grown tremendously, many wonderful new salons have opened, and thankfully there are now many more people and businesses serving our community. The last time we held the event, we had a minimal amount of children participate, and it felt like a good reminder that this tradition has fulfilled its purpose.
I truly believe every season has its purpose, and I feel like this one has come to a close. It’s time to pass the torch.🫶🏽
Thank you to every family who trusted us with your children’s back-to-school haircuts over the past 18 years. Watching those smiling faces head off to their first day of school and last has been one of the greatest blessings of my career.
💕To every stylist who volunteered over the years—thank you. You helped make a difference in our community, and I’ll always be grateful. ❤️
🚨🙏🏼
We wanted to share another update on our sweet Dixie.
Today has been another amazing step forward. She is more awake than she was yesterday and has now been MOVED out of ICU into a regular room! She no longer has any tubes, which is a huge answer to prayer.
She is still a little confused and sleepy at times, and they have gently told her a couple of times what has happened, but she’s not fully understanding everything yet. Physical therapy has already started working with her, and the doctors are planning for her to go to a rehabilitation facility once shes ready.
Seeing her making progress is such a blessing. Thank you all for the continued prayers, love, donations, and support. Please keep them coming as she still has a long road ahead.
Every update feels like another answered prayer. Please continue to keep Dixie and her family lifted up. ❤️
🚨🙏🏼
Our sweet Dixie continues to remind us that God is still in the miracle-working business. ❤️
Today brought incredible news—she has woken up and is now breathing 100% on her own! What an answer to so many prayers.
She is still very groggy , confused and fighting a serious infection, so her journey isn’t over yet. Please continue to lift her up in prayer for complete healing, strength, wisdom for her medical team, and peace for her family.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed, checked in, and believed alongside us. Every prayer matters, and we know God is still writing her story. Please don’t stop praying. 🙏❤️
🚨🚨🙏🏼🙏🏼 DIXIE UPDATE. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 🚨🚨
Today’s update is filled with hope and reminders that God is still at work.🙏🏼
They were able to turn her ventilator down to 40%, and her blood pressure medication has been reduced to 8 after being at 25. She is opening her eyes, blinking with more purpose, and moving her arms. She does have a slight fever of 99.8, but overall we are praising God for these encouraging steps.
We know the journey isn’t over, but today we choose to celebrate every victory, no matter how small. We truly believe the power of prayer is being felt, and we are so grateful for every person who has faithfully prayed, reached out, and stood with her.
Please don’t stop praying. We serve a God who still performs miracles, and we will continue to trust Him one step, one prayer, and one day at a time.

🚨 Dixie update! We have been asked how to help with Dixie. First and foremost please send all the healing prayers her way! Thank you to anyone who has prayed or donated.
We are accepting all monetary donations at the salon or you can send directly to her Venmo with gift as the memo. When she does wake up and sees it, she can thank each one of individually! 💕
She is still in ICU. A family member shared a fb post of hers yesterday. There was confusion that she was awake, alert and on FB , but unfortunately our girl is still very much in ICU. She still needs our prayers! 🙏🏼
Thank you from the bottom of our SH2T hearts!💕
🚨🚨Our salon family is asking for your prayers.
One of our beloved stylists Dixie recently experienced an unexpected medical emergency and is currently in the ICU. Out of respect for her and her family’s privacy, we won’t be sharing additional details at this time. 🙏🏼
Many of our clients have come to know and love Dixie over the years, and we know many of you will want to lift her up in prayer. We ask that you please pray for healing, strength, peace, comfort, and for her family as they walk through this incredibly difficult time.
🚨For those of you with upcoming appointments, please know we will do our very best to take care of her clients while she is unable to be with us. EVERY DOLLAR FROM THE SERVICE WE PROVIDE FOR HER CLIENTS WILL BE GIVEN DIRECTLY TO HER❗️Our goal is simply to help ease the financial burden while she focuses on healing.
If you feel led to help beyond your appointment, we will also be accepting donations at the salon. Every prayer, every kind word, every appointment kept, and every donation will mean more than you know.
THANK YOU for loving our salon family so well. We are believing in the power of prayer and trusting God to carry her through this difficult season. 🫶🏽♥️ SH2T
