It’s Acne Awareness Month, which is near and dear to me for many reasons.

The main one being I struggled myself from ages 14-30 feeling frustrated and depressed about my own skin. I felt like an outlier in friend groups. I hid my face from partners. I made excuses and cancelled plans because of how my skin looked.

I lived enslaved to my own negative thoughts about my skin, and my goal as an esthetician is to help anyone I can not feel the same way I did. Too much time was wasted on ruminating, and not living.
