Normal for a waxer… Questionable for literally anyone else 😂💀
🚫 Reasons NOT to Shave Between Your Waxes 🚫
I know it can be tempting sometimes but here’s why you should step away from the razor 👇
✨ It messes with your growth cycle
Waxing works best when hair grows in the same phase. Shaving resets that cycle and makes your next wax less smooth and less effective.
✨ It makes regrowth feel thicker
Shaving cuts the hair blunt at the surface so it feels stubbly & coarse. Waxing pulls from the root so regrowth is softer over time.
✨ You lose progress
Consistent waxing weakens the follicle. Shaving in between can slow that progress down.
✨ More ingrowns + irritation
Razors can cause microcuts, razor burn, & increase ingrown hairs, especially in sensitive areas.
✨ Your next wax won’t be as clean
Mixed growth (some shaved, some waxed) = patchy results & a less satisfying finish.
Trust the process. Stay consistent. Your future smooth self will thank you. 💛
If you’re in that awkward grow out stage, exfoliate, moisturize, & text me before you grab a razor. I got you.

I’m picky about what I put on my clients skin so when I bring in something new, it’s because it actually works.
