Red Light Therapy (RLT), also known as low-level laser therapy (LLLT) or photobiomodulation (PBM), is commonly used to help reduce pain and inflammation, promote healing, and support tissue repair. Here's how it works and how it helps with pain:

What Red Light Therapy Does for Pain Relief:
🔴 Reduces Inflammation
RLT decreases the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and oxidative stress.
This is particularly useful for joint pain, arthritis, and chronic muscle pain.

🔴 Stimulates Cellular Repair
Light in the red and near-infrared spectrum (typically 600–850 nm) penetrates tissues and stimulates mitochondrial activity, increasing ATP production (cell energy), which supports faster healing of damaged tissues.

🔴 Improves Blood Flow
Vasodilation (widening of blood vessels) improves circulation, delivering oxygen and nutrients to affected areas, and flushing out pain-causing waste products.

🔴 Blocks Pain Signals
RLT may modulate the nervous system to reduce pain perception, especially in conditions like neuropathy or post-surgical recovery.

🔴 Accelerates Tissue & Nerve Regeneration
Studies show benefits for soft tissue injuries, nerve pain, and recovery from strains, sprains, or surgeries.

Does this look familiar? 😩 That morning reach-for-your-back moment is something we see every single day — and it doesn't have to be your normal!
If your spine feels stiff, tight, or achy when you get out of bed, gentle spinal decompression therapy may help. Using a comfortable traction table, we slowly and gently stretch the spine to relieve pressure, ease tension, and help you move more freely.
Here's what many of our older patients tell us they notice:

❤️ Less morning stiffness
❤️ Easier bending and reaching
❤️ More confidence moving through the day

We also pair treatment with simple, gentle stretches you can do at home to support lower back mobility.
You deserve to wake up and move — not wince. 💙 Call us today to schedule your consultation, and let's get that spine feeling looser and more mobile!
📞 Book your visit today — your back will thank you!

Insurance can be one of the biggest obstacles between patients and the care they need.

That’s why clear conversations, flexible options, and the right support can make such a big difference.

Tiger Woods' back surgery story is a perfect example of a common problem many face: focusing on treatments that only mask the symptoms instead of addressing the real, underlying cause. It's a cycle of temporary fixes that leaves you feeling frustrated and hopeless. The truth is, many common approaches to back pain are based on outdated ideas. One of those is that surgery is the only option for back pain.
We beg to differ.Sometimes the little-known muscular imbalances that are very often the true source of nagging back pain are ignored by doctors who are only all too eager to start surgery, convinced it is the ONLY option.
Dr. Troy urges you to start the journey differently - first, schedule a consultation with him and his team to see if Spinal Decompression and other naturally-based back pain treatments might be a better option. He'll help you to discover straightforward techniques that help your body heal itself. He lives to help people who just want to get back to living their lives using proven back pain treatments and cures.

Back pain, neck pain, or tingling in your hands and feet shouldn’t be ignored.

The sooner you get answers, the sooner you can understand your options and start working toward a better quality of life.

Ignoring back, neck, or nerve symptoms can come with long-term consequences.

The earlier you understand what’s happening, the more options you may have before things progress. Don’t wait until pain starts making decisions for you.

Simply drinking water does NOT fix spinal issues; they are compressed and have lost the fluid between the vertebrae.
How much water should you drink? ❄️
⚠️ WHY SPINAL HYDRATION IS IMPORTANT ⚠️
🛑 The center of your intervertebral discs (called the nucleus pulposus) is 88% type II collagen water
🛑 Reduction in disc hydration results in disc degeneration (a.k.a. Degenerative Disc Disease)
🛑 Spinal discs are avascular and the disc cells depend on diffusion from blood vessels at the disc's margins to supply the essential nutrients. This process requires adequate hydration for optimal hydrostatic pressure
🛑 If the nucleus pulposis (center) of your disc isn't well hydrated, additional pressures are placed on the more fibrous ring, which can lead to disc bulges and herniations
🛑 Spinal disc hydration is facilitated both by exercise and rest
🛑 This hydration of your bones and discs is key for shock absorption
🛑 Lack of water increases your body's inflammatory response
🛑 Lack of water also increases pain sensitivity
