Salt Noir has been something in the works for a while now, partially without me realizing that this is what I have evolved into. Last four years, I’ve grown a lot as a person and as a hairstylist. This also has led to me outgrowing Desert Moon and into a new brand. I really wanted it to be something that you could say the name and everybody knew who it was and what it meant.

Salt.

Salt of the earth. Good people. Honest and straightforward. Salt is essential for our health. Salt is light. Light is happiness, light is Blonding, light is seeing the joy in life and appreciating the good things. Salt is a luxury.

Noir.

Noir is French for black. Black is my favorite color. Black is my happy color. The irony that someone with dark hair specializes in blonding. Black is also appreciating the lows to appreciate the highs. The French word “noir” is so chic to me. It’s classic and badass and beautiful.

Salt Noir is a luxury, it’s chic and it’s boujee. But it’s also freeing and accepting and loving. It means come as you are, feel loved and appreciated and taken care of. Hyped up. Leave feeling better emotionally and mentally and loving more than just your fresh, beautiful hair.

I am so excited for this rebrand. It has been a really special four years of Desert Moon Hair Studio, and I have been so grateful for everything that she has taught me. She was my first real salon moment , My first real learning experience with truly running your own business on a larger scale. Thank you so much everyone for supporting and love Desert Moon and everything that meant to me and to us. I can’t wait for all the new exciting moments we will have together at Salt Noir Hair Co. 🖤

Hi Babes! This post is an important one🫶🏼📣

I am officially on Maternity Leave! 👣 Definitely earlier than planned or expected but obviously the priority is to keep baby girl safe and healthy!

I will be pretty much off this page for the majority of leave more than likely so if you need to get ahold of me PLEASE send me an email to get In Touch, I probably won’t see any of these DMs and I don’t want I leave you hanging! 🖤

Thank you so much to everyone who has been so patient and kind as I did my best getting through the last couple weeks, I love y’all so much. I am seriously so blessed to have just the best ladies in my chair every day and I couldn’t ask for more! Thank you for everyone who has been so understanding as my schedule got changed around unexpectedly, I love and appreciate you more than you know 🖤

I have recommendations you and hair formulas to those who will need it so be sure to email me and I can keep you taken care while I’m away for a minute!

I am planning to be back the last week of April/first week of May, books will more than likely open up sometime in the first week of April! I will post here and everyone who receives texts updates will get all the updates 🫶🏼 there will also be the usual, “books open tomorrow” and then “books open today” posts and texts to keep you in the loop!

Hey Beautiful!! I have an important announcement for you! 📣📣📣

February books will finally be opening, TODAY Tuesday 1/16/24 at 7PM PST to give everyone a chance to go on and book! 🙏🏼

I had to wait to open these up until my timeframe was cleared by my doctor about when I needed to start maternity leave. I will be starting Maternity leave officially the last week of February, so those appointments will not be available, just the first three weeks. I will extend my hours the best I can to accommodate y’all without over doing it for baby girl over here 🫶🏼

My maternity leave will start the last week of February and then I will be back the first week of May! 🤰🏻

Some of my cute Desert Babes will be fine going until I’m back because we are on a good 12-16 week schedule with low maintenance coloring but for all of my girls who need appointments sooner than that, I have a recommendation list that I have MADE SURE will have a good fit for you while I’m out 🥹

Thank you so much for all your love and support during this fought pregnancy, I am so blessed to have the best ladies ever in my chair and I’m thankful to be your stylist.
