Grab your hairbrush and makeup kit, today’s episode is a pretty epic one where we are speaking with Abibat Durosimi. Abibat is the founder and owner of Bloom Beauty Collective, and has over 15 years of experience as a Natural Hair Stylist & Celebrity Makeup Artist (including working with celebs such as Prince, Misty Copeland, Lalah Hathaway, Nicole Scherzinger, Esperanza Spalding, and Liv Warfield). She jumped into entrepreneurship at the tender age of 26, and followed her dream to do what she loves (hairstyling and make-up!), and she saw that expand and evolve into various other ventures over the years, while listening closely to what her heart desired. 
Abibat quickly fast-tracked to touring with big names, and found the value in supporting others, who in turn, supported her on her own journey, while staying true to her values and beliefs. In 2017, wanting to share her skills, create community, and give back, Abibat built the Bloom Beauty Collective (BBC), a production company that creates a safe space for groups of creative entrepreneurs to curate events, pop-ups, and workshops in the fashion and beauty industry.
