I was inspired to write this book by my son, Jacob, who entered sixth grade this year. It’s such a big transition from elementary school to middle school, and my goal is to give kids the confidence and tools they need to juggle their crazy schedules, boost their communication skills, curb anxiety, deal with social challenges, balance their on and off-line lives and navigate all of this while remaining mentally and emotionally healthy.

My sweet boy is 4 tomorrow! I cannot believe we are here already. So thankful to be his mom!! and even though we were brought together when he was 10 months old, I will truly always believe that we chose each other.

I did it! I am starting up a new LLC and Pathwats Global Publishing has been born.
My goal is to write books that will actually help people through important transitions in their lives at different phases of thelifespan. This is so cool because it’s bringing all of my background together in one focused venture. I can apply my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development with my experience, writing curriculum for teens and my personal journey through the foster care system. I always used to tell my students that I love teaching life skills because “life“ is such a big topic.

Here are my specific questions:
1. What color do you like the background on the bottom part of the cover? Also, do you like the solid line or when it blends into the graphic of the teens?
2. What color do you like best for the subtitle at the bottom?
3. Do you like the blue lines on either side of the word "And" in the main title?
4. Do you like the school building in the background or not?

It’s SO AMAZING to be able to share a National Son’s Day post to love on my son, Adam! He’s creative, sweet and curios. He’s constantly running and filling our house (and my heart) with laughter. I’m incredibly fortunate to be his Mama!! Thanks for keeping me young(ish), sweet boy!
