After a lot of thought, I’ve decided it’s time for a little change! I’m excited to share that I’ll be relocating to our **Troy location** at Oak & Arrow Beauty Room!

📍 **1530 W Main St, Troy, OH 45373**

Along with the move, I’ve decided to **no longer offer facials and esthetic services**. I’m choosing to put my main focus and energy into my hair business and continue growing in the area I truly love.

This feels like the right step for me, both personally and professionally. Sometimes we have to simplify, make room for growth, and trust where life is leading us.

I’m incredibly grateful for every client who has supported me through all of my seasons and changes. Your support, loyalty, and trust mean more than you know. 🥹❤️

I've gone back and forth about posting this. I know quite a few people who are looking for guidance and simply don't know where to start when it comes to their health. All I ask is that you keep an open mind.

I really started this journey after I got sick in 2021 and then lost my dad in 2022 to the medical system. Those experiences changed me. I don't trust much these days, so I've spent a lot of time researching, learning, and finding things that have helped me heal from the inside out on my own.

As we get older, many of us start noticing more aches, pains, low energy, and just feeling worn down. One thing I've learned through my own healing journey is that health can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do everything at once.

After going down many rabbit holes in holistic health, here are some of the things that have helped me and where I would recommend starting if you're looking to take better care of yourself.

✨ Start with hormones. Hormones can affect energy, mood, sleep, and overall well-being for both women and men. I've personally had great results with Wild Yam Cream by Genesis. They're located down south, but Echo Boutique in Troy also carries it. And yes, men need hormone support too.

✨ Support your adrenals and (cortisol)stress response. Chronic stress can leave us feeling stuck in fight-or-flight mode. I've found Standard Process to be a great brand, and if you can't get that, Thorne is another excellent option. Supporting your adrenals can make a huge difference in how you feel day to day.

✨ Take care of your lymphatic system. Rebounding, lymphatic massage, and vibration therapy are all great places to start. I personally use a vibration plate and swear by it. LifePro has some great products. Keeping your lymphatic system moving can help your body function more efficiently.

✨ Focus on strengthening your immune system through nourishing foods, quality supplements, good sleep, and proper hydration. I was surprised to learn how much overall health and immune function can impact other issues in the body.

✨ Show your liver some love. Castor oil packs have become one of my favorite self-care practices and are an easy place to start.

✨ Hydrate! Add a pinch of Celtic salt to your water or use a hydration powder. Just pay attention to the ingredients because many contain a lot of sugar or artificial sweeteners. This will allow your water to get into your cells as it should and not feeling like you have to p*e every 5 minutes.

✨ Don't forget magnesium! Most people are deficient and don't even realize it. Magnesium supports muscle recovery, sleep, stress management, nervous system regulation, energy production, and can even help with headaches, muscle cramps, and tension. I like using it both internally and topically. Magnesium lotions, sprays, and Epsom salt baths are easy ways to support your body, especially if you're dealing with soreness, stress, or trouble sleeping. Also if you are super stinky or your kids, magnesium deficiency can be the culprit! I use magnesium lotion on my boys feet and legs every night before bed!

But just as important as physical health is mental and emotional health.

💛 Learning about attachment styles has helped me better understand myself and my relationships.

💛 Regulating my nervous system has been a game changer. I've been using a Vagus Nerve Roller from Rowe Casa, and it has been a lifesaver.

💛 Reading The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins has given me a lot to think about and helped me focus more on what I can control.

💛 Healing inner child wounds and working through old patterns has helped me find more peace, self-awareness, and compassion for myself and others.

The biggest thing I've learned is that healing isn't about perfection. It's about making small, consistent choices that help you feel a little better every day. You don't have to change everything overnight. Just start somewhere.
