The Meadow Salon and Spa LLC
Hi, I'm Kayla Romanski L.M.T. MM43877 and I own The Meadow Salon and Spa LLC.
What makes Korean skincare different?
One of the things I love most about Korean skincare is that it isn't about chasing quick fixes.
It's about giving your skin exactly what it needs, day after day, so it becomes healthier over time.
Hydrated skin naturally appears smoother, brighter, and more resilient. As your skin barrier becomes stronger and moisture levels improve, you'll often notice fine lines look softer, your complexion looks more radiant, and your skin simply feels healthier.
That's why Korean skincare focuses on layering lightweight, nourishing products that work together as a daily ritual rather than relying on one heavy cream.
A few of my favorite ingredients and technologies you'll get to learn about at our Open House include:
Giant BYoungPool (Centella Asiatica)
Known for its calming and restorative properties, this botanical helps soothe irritation while supporting healthy-looking skin. It's rich in antioxidants and is loved for promoting hydration and improving the appearance of uneven skin tone.
Jeju Lava Energy Water
Naturally filtered beneath Korea's Jeju Island for thousands of years, this mineral-rich water helps deeply hydrate and nourish the skin, leaving it feeling refreshed and supple.
Nano-Liposome Technology
One of the things that makes these products so unique is how they're formulated. This technology helps key ingredients absorb more effectively into the skin, allowing hydration and nourishing ingredients to reach where they're needed most.
The goal isn't to erase every line.
It's to support healthy, well-hydrated skin that naturally looks smoother, plumper, and more radiant.
If you've been curious about Korean skincare or wondering where to begin, I'd love to invite you to our Discover Korean Skincare Open House on Saturday, July 25.
We'll talk through the routines, answer your questions, help you understand which products are right for your skin, and let you experience the textures and formulas for yourself.
I can't wait to share why I've fallen in love with this approach to skincare.
Slow your day down today by changing your mindset.

Some appointments are about more than one service.
They’re about giving yourself permission to slow down.
This special guest spent the morning at The Meadow enjoying a therapeutic massage, a Purifying Scalp Treatment, and finished with a fresh haircut.
Watching her leave looking refreshed was wonderful—but knowing she also had time to relax, recharge, and care for herself is what I love most.
That’s what I hope every visit to The Meadow feels like. A place where you can step away from the busyness of life for a little while and leave feeling lighter than when you arrived.
The haircut was simply the finishing touch.

I’m incredibly honored to be nominated for FIERCE Woman of the Year.
When I read the article that was written about me, I felt so grateful. Not because it was about me, but because it reminded me that The Meadow has become something bigger than I ever could have built on my own.
Every person who has trusted me with a massage, facial, scalp ritual, or hair appointment… every client who has shared my business with a friend… every encouraging message, review, and recommendation has helped make this possible.
Owning The Meadow has been one of the greatest privileges of my life, and I’m so thankful to be part of such an incredible community.
If you’ve enjoyed your experience at The Meadow and would like to support me, I would be so grateful for your vote. You can vote once each day through August 7, and every vote truly means more than you know.

Thank you for supporting my dream and for allowing me to do work that I genuinely love every single day. It means the world to me.
There’s something about having your hair gently washed, your scalp cared for, and nowhere else you need to be.
My Scalp & Hair Renewal Ritual is more than a shampoo. It’s a chance to slow down, release tension, and care for your scalp with treatments chosen specifically for your needs.
Warm water. Gentle massage. Nourishing hair treatments. Quiet moments that remind you what it feels like to simply rest.
Healthy hair begins with a healthy scalp—but the way you feel when you leave is just as important.
If your mind has been busy, your scalp has been dry, or you’re simply craving an hour to yourself, this may be exactly what you’ve been needing.
Appointments are available at The Meadow Salon & Spa in Venice.

Recently, a client reminded me of something I needed to hear.
She was brand new to The Meadow and experiencing manual lymphatic drainage for the first time. I customized her session to include some therapeutic massage because I knew her neck and upper back needed a little extra attention.
As the treatment went on, she said,
“I didn’t realize how much I needed this.”
A little while later, she added,
“I just feel so relaxed.”
Without really thinking, I smiled and said something about how relaxing the music is.
She paused for a second and replied,
“No… it’s your massage. I’m not even thinking about the music. I’m just thinking about how good I feel.”
That really stayed with me.
Sometimes I spend so much time thinking about the atmosphere—the soft lighting, the music, the candles, the products, all the little details that make The Meadow feel peaceful—that I forget something important.
Those things help create the experience.
But they’re not what people remember.
People remember how they feel.
They remember taking a deep breath for the first time all week.
Feeling their shoulders soften.
Feeling their nervous system finally settle.
Feeling cared for.
That doesn’t happen because of the music alone.
It happens because every treatment is intentional. I listen. I observe. I customize every session to what your body needs in that moment.
Creating a beautiful, peaceful space has always mattered to me. But today’s conversation reminded me that the real heart of The Meadow isn’t the candles, the music, or the atmosphere.
It’s the care.
It’s listening.
It’s creating a treatment that’s as unique as the person on my table.
It’s helping someone leave feeling better than when they arrived.
Creating a place where people can slow down has always been my goal. Today reminded me that what truly makes that possible isn’t just the environment—it’s the connection, the intention, and the trust that’s built during every treatment.
I’m so grateful for every person who chooses The Meadow and trusts me with their health, their stress, and their well-being. It’s a privilege I’ll never take for granted.

Less urgency. More pause.
The Fourth of July always feels like the halfway point of the year to me. One minute we're making summer plans, and the next we're talking about back-to-school, fall, the holidays... and before we know it, it's New Year's again.
It got me thinking...
How do I want to spend the second half of this year?
Not necessarily what I want to accomplish. I love goals and dreaming big. But more than that, how do I want to live?
I want to feel more present.
I want to put my phone down more often.
I want to notice the little moments instead of always thinking about what's next.
Over the holiday weekend, I realized some of my favorite moments weren't the ones I planned. They were the simple ones. Going for a hike with Greg and Blu. Reading a book until I accidentally fell asleep. Leaving my phone behind for a little while and realizing I didn't miss it.
It made me wonder how often I rush through today because I'm already thinking about tomorrow.
That's part of why The Meadow means so much to me.
I don't just want it to be a place where people come for a haircut, a massage, or a facial. I want it to be a place where they feel like they can finally exhale. Where they don't have to be "on." Where, even for a little while, they can just be.
Maybe that's what I want more of in the second half of this year.
Less urgency.
More pause.

Happy 4th of July! 250!! 🎊🥳😍
One of the things I hear most from first-time guests is…
“I can’t believe how peaceful it is here.”
The Meadow was intentionally created to feel different.
No crowded waiting room.
No constant noise.
No rushing from one appointment to the next.
Just a quiet, private space where your time is truly your own.
Whether you’re here for a massage, facial, scalp ritual, or simply a moment to reset, my hope is that you feel cared for from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave.
Sometimes privacy is one of the greatest forms of self-care.
Because healing often happens best in a space where you can simply be.

Why did I create The Meadow?
Many people know The Meadow as a place for massage, facials, scalp rituals, and self-care.
What many don’t know is that it was created during one of the most uncertain seasons of my life.
After Hurricane Ian, the property where I was living flooded. Overnight, life became less about plans and more about figuring out what came next.
During that season, I found myself longing for the very things I now hope to offer others: peace, comfort, stability, and a place to simply breathe.
As I began building The Meadow, it became more than a business.
It became a vision for a quiet refuge.
A place where people could step away from the noise of everyday life.
A place where they felt genuinely cared for.
A place where they could slow down, soften, and reconnect with themselves.
A few months later, I moved into a new home and began a new chapter, but the heart behind The Meadow never changed.
Some of life’s hardest seasons have a way of planting seeds for something beautiful.
The Meadow is one of those things. 💚
