Happy FOUR years to Cassie!!!!

There are some people who come into your life and somehow become woven into everything you’re building, and that is Cassie for me.

Over the last four years, I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow in so many ways. As a stylist, as a leader, and most importantly, as a human. She is one of those people who is genuinely beautiful from the inside out, and I am so incredibly proud of the young woman she has become.

This year especially feels like such a big one.

Making it official and having Cassie step into the manager role at Virasana felt less like giving her a new title and more like finally putting a name to something she had already become.

She is basically the Alexander Hamilton to my George Washington. 😂 She understands my brain, somehow helps organize the 47 ideas happening inside of it at any given moment, and cares deeply about what we are building here.

She helps ground me. She challenges me. She helps protect and grow the culture of Virasana. She believes in this place and these girls, and I truly cannot imagine this salon without her anymore.

But beyond all of that, I just love her.

I love getting to watch her become more confident in who she is. I love watching her realize what she’s capable of. I love watching her find her voice as a leader while still being completely and unapologetically Cassie.

And I just know in my heart, her mama would be so unbelievably proud of her. Of the woman she is. Of everything she has accomplished. Of the way she loves people. And of everything that is still ahead of her. 🫶

Cassie, getting to watch you grow has been one of the greatest privileges of these last four years, and getting to have you beside me while Virasana grows has been one of the greatest gifts.

Happy four years. I love you, I’m so proud of you, and I hope you know just how important you are to me and to this weird, wonderful little salon we’ve built.

Happy FIVE YEAR anniversary to our Kiana!! 🥹🤍✨

Five years ago, Kiana walked into Virasana as a high schooler working our front desk. She wasn’t a hairstylist yet. She was just beginning to figure out who she was and where life was going to take her.

And somehow, I blinked.

I got to watch that high school girl graduate, choose this industry, go through cosmetology school, step behind the chair, find her confidence, develop her craft, and grow into the incredibly talented stylist and woman she is today.

And I am SO damn proud of her.

Of course I’m proud of the stylist she has become, but I’m even more proud of the human she has become along the way.

One of the greatest gifts Virasana has given me is the people it has brought into my life, and Kiana is absolutely one of them. Somewhere during these last five years, she became so much more than the high schooler working my front desk or a stylist on my team. She became family.

Kiana, thank you for growing up with Virasana. Thank you for trusting me to teach you, challenge you, cheer you on and sometimes lovingly annoy you into believing you’re capable of more. 😂🤍

It has been such a privilege getting a front-row seat to the person you’re becoming, and I cannot wait to see where the next five years take you.

Happy 5 years, Kiana. I love having you in my life, I love having you as part of this business, and I am so incredibly proud of you. 🥹🤍✨

✨ MEET JOSI ✨

There’s a new face at Virasana and we are all so excited for you to meet her!!!!

Meet Josi, the newest stylist joining our Virasana family!

Josi has been behind the chair for four years and has a serious love for creating bright blondes, rich reds, and customized color that makes her guests feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves.

One of the things we loved about Josi from the beginning was how excited she is to keep learning and growing. She’s joining us ready to dive into the Virasana way, expand her skills, learn alongside our team, and build some beautiful relationships with her new guests. ✨

But hair is only part of the story, so here’s a little Josi trivia:

🐶 She has an 85-pound American Bulldog AND a 7-pound Mini Dachshund, which feels like the beginning of a buddy comedy we would absolutely watch.

☕ Her coffee order is an iced caramel latte.

🍳 She loves cooking and trying new recipes.

🏴‍☠️ Her favorite movie is Pirates of the Caribbean.

🐺 And when she needs a comfort show? Teen Wolf.

Behind the chair, Josi wants every person who sits down with her to feel comfortable, heard, relaxed and genuinely excited about their hair. 🤍

We’re so happy to welcome Josi to Virasana and we can’t wait for all of you to get to know her.

At Virasana, we’ve never believed leadership is something you’re given overnight.

It’s earned in the quiet moments. The early mornings. The hard conversations. The willingness to step in before you’re ever asked. The way you make the people around you feel seen, supported, and capable.

For a long time now, Cassie has been that person.

She has been my right hand, my sounding board, and someone who has consistently poured into this salon with her whole heart. She protects our culture, leads with kindness, and believes that when one person grows, we all grow.

That’s exactly the kind of leader Virasana needs.

So I’m incredibly proud to make it official… Cassie is now our Salon Manager.

This isn’t just a new title. It’s a reflection of the work she’s already been doing, the trust she’s earned, and the impact she’s had on every person who walks through our doors.

One of the things I’m most proud of at Virasana is that we don’t compete with one another. We celebrate one another. We mentor, encourage, and make room for each other to step into bigger dreams. Watching the women on this team grow into leaders is one of the greatest joys of owning this salon, and today we get to celebrate another one of those moments.

Cassie, thank you for loving this team as fiercely as you do. Thank you for helping make Virasana feel like home for our guests and for each of us. I can’t wait to watch you continue to grow in this role, and we’ll all be right beside you every step of the way.

We’re at Premiere Orlando for next few days to learn new techniques, discover new trends, and bring back fresh inspiration for our Virasana guests. Because great hair doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when artists never stop learning💋
