It hurt TERRIBLY to be forced to leave it behind.

I haven't gone MIA.

Unfortunately, the past 3 months have been more difficult than I ever expected.
I had HOPED that selling the salon, removing myself from the never ending business demands that needed my constant attention, would feel like a HUGE weight lifted.
I thought that I would take maybe a FEW weeks off, follow docs orders, then get back to at least 'Working Behind The Chair', something I LOVE to do (much more than actually running a business).
Unfortunately, that's not how things went down.

Instead, it proved to be one of the most challenging times of my life.

I left the salon CRUSHED, and spent several weeks going through what I can only call a GRIEVING PROCESS.
I know that may sound weird to some, But, trust me, I have grieved enough in my life to know what it feels like.

I had to leave the business I LOVED behind, stop doing what I LOVE, leaving so many people that I love, and have been HUGE PART OF MY LIFE.
It was all there, and then it was all gone- basically overnight.
It all hit me hard.
AND
I NEVER expected it!

As some know, I fought for years to get well, so that such a permanent step wouldn't become my final option. It was.

Sadly, it turns out that my health is worse than I originally thought.
MAYBE if I had taken time off back when docs first told me to, I might not have gotten as progressively ill.
But I was stupid, and thought I could 'push through'.
Many lessons learned along the way.

Docs have now uncovered more diseases/dysfunctions, and we're still working on getting all of the debilitating symptoms better stabilized.
I am confident that I will get a handle on all of this- SOON.

I want to reach out to each of you individually, but there just isn't enough time in the day, or I don't feel well, or I'm stuck at YET ANOTHER APPOINTMENT/TREATMENT.
I hope this reaches at least MOST of you.

I hope to be up and running soon, but I do need more time, and I don't know what time will tell.
My docs have warned me that if I push it AT ALL, I will shut completely down---again.

I'm so very sorry that my body isn't cooperating as I'd hoped.

I hope everybody is doing well, and I look forward to talking to/ seeing you one day soon!
