Not My Nails, Not My Name 🖤

Okay I have to say something about this because it happens more than y'all probably realize. 😅 I get DMs from companies asking me to buy their "hand painted press-ons" and resell them under my own name and every time, it's a hard no from me.

I have no way of knowing what the working conditions were like for whoever actually made those nails and companies paying rock bottom rates for "handmade" work is not something I want any part of. 🙅🏻‍♀️ On top of that, chances are high those aren't even hand painted start to finish. More than likely, it's a hand painted top coat slapped on mass printed plastic nails that came off a factory line. And a lot of the time, the designs being used were stolen straight from real independent artists who put in the actual work to create them. 🫠

Every single set I make is done by me, start to finish, because that hand to product connection means everything (to me and to the folks wearing them). It's not just a product. It's a form of self expression and that's not something you can just mass produce.

Y'all can copy a lot of things but you cannot copy my essence. 😇🖤
