Hi there, it’s been a while! I’m Sarah— and if you’ve been following my journey, thank you. If you’re new, I’m so glad you found your way here!

I’m the founder of LASHFOX, a brand that started with beauty based services but was always rooted in something deeper— women, community, and the quiet power of taking care of yourself.

Over 11 years in business has taught me so much. These days I’m leaning into the full picture of what I do: running LASHFOX, going to school part time, helping small businesses find their voice with authentic marketing strategies, designing websites, consulting, and managing social media. I’ve held these changes close to my heart for the last few months and it’s finally time to let the cat out of the bag and share what’s next for me. 💗

Somewhere in between all of it, I’m still making time to get my hands in the dirt, enjoying everything beautiful Ventura has to offer, and soaking up time with friends & family.

And yes— I’m still very much in the studio. Lash services are still at the heart of what I offer, and that part hasn’t changed. What has always set me apart is the care I bring to every single appointment— the custom detail, the precision, and the mindfulness around lash health. Every service is an experience to unwind, catch up, or simply treat yourself. It’s my continuous creative outlet and for that I’m truly grateful.

LASHFOX turns another year older this month. Marking 11 years as an independent, woman-owned business servicing the Ventura community. I am so very grateful for the opportunity to hold a safe space for my clients. Now more than ever. Fostering meaningful connections and hearing your stories is powerful and sacred. It gives me immense hope for the future despite our crazy chaotic world. I have learned more about myself through others than I ever could have on my own. As I continue my creative career it will mold, change, migrate and shift, just like we do. Growing in a way that moves with the progressive times. Thinking of you all and wanted to share my gratitude for supporting LASHFOX throughout the year and holiday season. The past few months have been wonderfully busy and I’m truly grateful for each and every one of you who continues to trust me with your self-care. Your support means more than I can say!

Lash Cleanser = Better Retention

One of the most important (and often overlooked) steps in lash care is proper cleansing. Using a lash-safe cleanser helps remove oils, makeup, and debris that can break down adhesive and shorten the life of your extensions.

Consistent cleansing supports:
-Better retention (lashes last longer)
-Healthier natural lashes
-Cleaner lash lines and fewer irritations

Water alone isn’t enough— and many facial cleansers contain oils or ingredients that aren’t extension-safe. That’s why I always recommend using a professional, lash-approved cleanser at home.

My shelves are fully stocked with Maven Quartz Cleanser and EBL Foam Cleanser, both gentle, effective, and safe for daily use. A small step that makes a big difference in how your lashes look and last.

What's ahead in 2026

As we step into the new year, I’m feeling grounded, inspired, and so thankful for the Ventura community. I'll be back to school in Spring and I'm taking off for a visit to see my family in North Carolina, February 12th-16th. Until then, I'll be seeing you! Heading into the Fall Season

As summer is coming to an end and with the holidays creeping up, now’s a great time to look ahead and grab the appointment times that work best for you. My schedule is open through November and December, I'd highly recommend booking a few visits in advance will make sure you’re set for the busy season!

Skincare Specials

While summer can be tough on our skin, fall and winter are the ideal seasons for treatments like exfoliation and peels. Regular facials every 4–6 weeks help rev up your skin’s natural turnover, keeping it fresh and glowing. As we age, cell turnover slows down, so giving it that extra boost is key. I’ll be offering facial and peel packages soon—plus options for teens—so keep an eye out for those announcements as specials will be happening this season!

Lash Care Refresh

With the holidays comes more glam, and lash extensions are the perfect touch. Just a reminder: avoid using liner and mascara on your extensions. They can damage your natural lashes, reduce retention, and even increase the risk of bacterial growth.

If you’re interested in adding drama, changing styles, or have any aftercare questions, let’s chat—I love creating custom looks that keep your lashes healthy and happy.

And one last tip: please arrive with squeaky clean lashes for every fill. Fresh, clean lashes make all the difference for retention and overall lash health.

Sublease

I've been keeping busy both in and out of the studio. I’m back in school part-time and also doing some freelance marketing on the side—helping other small businesses discover their brand identity and navigate the sometimes-overwhelming world of social media in a way that feels real and authentic.

When I’m not lashing or studying, you’ll usually find me in the yard, and I’m already looking forward to spending more time with family over the holidays.

I’m truly grateful for my space at Santa Clara, the people I get to work alongside, and especially for all of you. The relationships I have with my clients make this work not only easier, but so much more meaningful. Thank you for being part of this community—I can’t wait to see you this season.
