You can’t say Avila Bay without saying ahhhh… home for the next few days

We spent a few days in the port city of Marseille , France. It is a lovely city. The people there were very friendly and the architecture is stunning!

On our recent visit In Meursault, France, we came upon an old cemetery.. of course we stopped

Today’s drive through the countryside gave us the gift of stumbling onto this castle ! It’s named Chateau de La Rochepot , a Burgundian Gothic castle in the village of Le Rochepot. Built in the 1100’s( let that sink in ). We were blown away! Unfortunately, it’s not open to visitors , but we were nonetheless swept away with the thoughts of what those walls have seen! It was a magical experience for us. And the capper on our final day here in the Burgundy Region

Lagos, Portugal:
We enjoyed a tranquil retreat, spending several days unwinding from the busy cities. Our apartment had stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and nearby cave formations, a short walk provided an even better view.
Old Town Lagos was characterized by its lively atmosphere and charm, beautiful tiles and with outstanding seafood !

We made it to Barcelona ! Tired, but not too tired to get a peek of the neighborhood. Which made us thirsty !
