How to arrive to your appointment is always a question we get. Clean dry hair , lots of inspo pics similar to your natural hair and how you typically style.

Private parking lot so you don’t have to stress about finding a parking spot before you arrive.

We have amenities for you so you can relax and enjoy your experience. We want you to feel well taken care of so we have all the little things to make you comfortable.

Drink of the month for August is
The Watermelon Mexican Candy 🍉🇲🇽

We wanted to pay homage to our field workers who are picking our fruits and veggies in this heat and all year round so that we all have food on our tables. We appreciate them so much!

Enjoy this refreshing treat of watermelon agua fresca, with or without spicy tamarindo libation, a watermelon candy rim dip withTajín and a slice of yellow watermelon.

This drink is soo good for summer , we hope you love it as much as we do.

We have some exciting news! We are changing our name ! Some of you already have seen our new sign outside. We were waiting for the big sign to be done before we announced it but it is taking longer than we intended to get it installed and we just couldn’t wait anymore 👏

Ventura Hair Salon

This new name means similar in quality, character or nature. A reminder that while we each bring our own style, strengths and creativity, we’re connected by shared values and a commitment to growing together as a team.

When we bought KINshoppe in 2018, we kept the name and make it our own, but it never completely felt like us.

When we were talking about name options in 2025, we decided that we didn’t want to fully change what we have built, but felt like it was the right time to truly make the salon our own vision. The name feels like a perfect combination of who we are now and who we were the last 8 years building together. We are really excited for this change and continue our salon journey with our new brand.
