In just a few days, I officially start my first RN position as a Preop/Recovery Nurse. 🥹🩺
After working so hard for those two little letters after my name, it feels pretty surreal to finally be stepping into this next chapter. Excited, nervous, and SO ready to learn. 🤍

Well, you know I like a good challenge. 😆🤷♀️
I challenged myself one day… and that day turned into another day. Then a week. Then months. And somehow, here we are.
One year alcohol free today. 🤍
At some point, I realized alcohol just wasn’t bringing out the best in me anymore. And over this past year, I’ve realized I can still go out, socialize, celebrate, laugh until my stomach hurts, and have just as much fun without it.
I wake up without the headaches. I see things a little clearer. I appreciate the simplest things so much more. And apparently I’m actually funnier sober 😂 because I can still crack everyone up without needing a drink to get me there.
But one of the things I’m most proud of is the example I’m setting for my girls. And maybe breaking a little generational trauma along the way. 🤍
365 days alcohol free. 🥹🤍
