See below ⬇️ The secret to building strength and mobility is always the same: you need to find what you can do right now and build from there. When I first tried getting up from the ground like this without using my hands, I looked like an upside down turtle! It honestly seemed impossible. But, over time, and by practising at a level that was challenging, but achievable, I was able to build the strength and mobility to get up and down from the ground smoothly. If getting up smoothly from the ground is one of your dreams, then your starting point should be to find a stool or a pile of cushions that’s high enough to let you get up without struggling, but still feels like a challenge. Practice there for as long as you need to, and then start challenging yourself by gradually decreasing the height that you are working from. If you are consistent and keep at it, you are going to make amazing changes! Pro tip: this progression will do the trick, but working on your hip mobility in other ways at the same time will certainly help you progress even faster 😊 I hope this is super helpful for you!
