Hotsy Totsy

This bar started with a simple idea: pair together some of my favorite bright, happy ingredients and see what happens. Fresh citrus from lemon and orange essential oils, a little litsea cubeba for extra zing, and just enough palmarosa to round everything out. Poppy seeds give it a gentle scrub, and organic coconut milk makes the lather extra creamy.
One of my favorite parts of soap making is that it feels a lot like baking. You start with a handful of good ingredients, play around with combinations, and every once in a while you end up with something that’s extra delicious!

This is the Vega slab mold from Customcrafttools, and I am absolutely loving it! It’s the perfect size for testing new scent blends and designs before committing to larger batches in my trusty Nara molds.

I get asked all the time where I get my soap molds, so I figured they deserved their own post! One of my favorite features is that two of the four sides remove easily, making unmolding a breeze. The silicone liners clean up beautifully, and you can even add a lid to help with the soap-making process.

Another thing I love? The customization! They offer several silicone liner colors and multiple frame finishes, so you can mix and match to create your own perfect setup.
