It pains me to admit when I am weak and when I can’t quickly fix a problem.
I have not been able to work this week due to sciatica pain. Each day is a new day that I hope to find enough relief to keep me standing for more than 5-10 minutes.
I am not yet there at this moment.
My hope is that I will be able to get back to work tomorrow or Friday if I just can get my body to respond well to the therapy.
When it does, I will try my hardest to reschedule any appointments that have been affected ASAP.

Thank you to everyone who has offered advice and well wishes! I will be back, that’s a promise!

Dear Clients-

Thank you for your patience in understanding that at the moment I am in too much pain to work. It has now been 11 days since I injured my back and the pain has progressively gotten worse making all sorts of positions from laying, sitting and standing quite uncomfortable. Believe me when I say, I do not like missing work. However, this week I am focusing on myself and doing whatever the doctors say, so that I can heal faster and get back in the salon.
To try and add humor to a frustrating situation: on one hand I would like a refund on the last 365 days… getting older has not been kind to me. On the other hand…. I’m going to hit my deductible soon…. So what else can I get done this year? 😞

I am currently unable to work due to a back injury. At this time I am unable to sit or stand for long periods of time. I will reach out to you if your appointment will be affected. My doctor says it could take a week to 10 days for the spasms to subside. For now, I will just take this day by day. Please have patience with me during this time!

To all my clients, as of today at 5pm, Governor Evers has closed all salons. Mine is no exception. As I hope this only lasts 2 weeks, I expect it could easily last 4 weeks or more!
The sooner we start social distancing, the sooner we can all get our HAIR done again!!
