Our Story

My interest in beauty started early. Lip smackers gloss to Loves Baby Soft body mist... Anything to look pretty or smell pretty enticed me and still does today. All throughout High School I wore make-up and used all the fancy hair products, polished my nails and all the rest.

Because my mother was a hairstylist I think I may have gotten the beauty gene, so I went on to cut some of my friends hair in High School! By the time graduation came around I knew that I didn't want to sit behind a desk and punch the clock from nine to five...

And so the professional journey began. I registered at Capri Hair Institute in Clifton and the rest is history.
Passed my State Board exam and got my first job as an apprentice. Swept floors and shampooed heads and paid attention. Asked questions and practiced on my friends and family, (bless them all).

So in the end, I took advanced courses and learned everything that I could. And then found the job that was going to build me a clientele. And some of my relationships have lasted for 20 years! One of my mentors said, "you are only as good as your last cut"... I have built my empire brick by brick and it was all worth it. You live, you learn, and you grow! :)
