Dear Allura Nail Boutique community,

It has been a crazy couple months and I hope you all are staying healthy and safe. Not being able to work has given me the opportunity to reflect on how much I appreciate each and every one of you and how much I love my career.

While the timeline for re-opening has not been officially announced, I am now accepting limited appointments starting May 27th. (Please be aware that this timeline could change and the appointments may have to be rescheduled) While the health and safety of my clients and the community has always been #1, I have listed below some of the additonal guidelines I plan to implement in the salon to continue to ensure I am creating a safe environment for myself and my clients. I appreciate your patience as we navigate this new process together.

~ By holding both a manicurist license and an establishment license I am required to uphold a certain level of safety and sanitation in my salon and during services. In addition to that, I plan to extend services times by 15 minutes to be able to fully sanitize the room, which includes all surfaces, light switches, etc.

~ If you are feeling ill, or are recovering from being ill, I ask that you reschedule your appointment. I will do the same if I am not feeling well or suspect that I am sick.

~ I will wear a clean mask for each client, and ask that clients also enter the building wearing a mask and continue to wear one during the service. If you forget to bring your own, I will supply a disposable one.

~ I ask that upon entering my room you wash your hands. I will supply clean, disposable towels for each individual. I will also wash my hands before and after the service as well as using hand sanitizer as needed throughout.

~ Please remain in your car once you arrive for your appointment. I will call or send a text message to let you know the room has been sanitized and I am ready for you. This will cut down on the number of people in the common area at one time.

~ I will not be able to provide beverages, neck wraps, or magazines until further notice

~ I will not be requiring a signature for credit card payments. If you are not comfortable with this, I will sanitize my device before and after use.

This is just an initial list of guidelines I plan to follow as I begin to take appointments again and things may change as we know more.

After careful consideration, I have decided to close starting Saturday in order to protect myself, my clients, and the community.
