Hi, I’m Karlee…the artist behind KD Designs! 🤍

Since I’m brand new to the Milan area, I figured it was the perfect time to reintroduce myself.

I recently moved to Michigan from Indiana and joined The Hair Lounge, where I offer gel manicures, builder/structure gel, Gel-X, dry pedicures and custom spray tans. I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist and business owner for over a year, and my favorite part of this career is creating personalized services that help every client leave feeling confident.

A few things about me outside the salon: I’m 19, I have a miniature dachshund (Winston), and I love photography, cats, crafting, painting, sewing and spending time with the people I love. I’m definitely a little shy at first, but once you sit in my chair, I want you to feel like you’re catching up with a friend.

Starting over in a new state is exciting and a little nerve-racking, but I’m so grateful to be here and can’t wait to meet more people in the Milan community!

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday, I have some exciting news to share!

When I created this space, the vision was always to build a collective of independent, talented artists who inspire, support, and grow beside one another. Today, I am incredibly proud to introduce a stylist who embodies that vision perfectly.

Many of you already know and love Karlee Miller for her incredible nail artistry here at the salon. Over the last few months, Karlee and I have been working side-by-side behind the chair, collaborating on advanced hair techniques and merging our passions.

Starting in June, Karlee will be offering:
•Precision Haircutting + Customized Color
•Luxury Scalp Therapies + Blowouts/styling
•Facial Waxing

She will be accepting new clients on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We believe in lifting each other up, and I can personally vouch for the passion and care she puts into every single guest. Also be on the lookout for model calls as her list of services offered expands!
