Massage moves a lot more than just muscles. During a session we stimulate circulation, lymphatic flow, and release metabolic waste that’s been sitting in tight tissue and fascia. When you drink water afterward, your body is able to flush those byproducts out more efficiently.
If you don’t hydrate, you might feel sluggish, achy, or even flu-like the next day because your body is still trying to process everything that was released during the massage.

Yay!!! I did it. Officially certified in Gua Shu Muscle Scraping Technique.
Shoutout to our teacher for always helping us find the best continuing education classes, and encouraging us to step out of our comfort zones and learn new techniques. I hope to get more certification in massage therapy while Im finishing the rest of my internship hours. This is only the beginning. 🫶🏻
