Today, on World Teachers’ Day, we want to recognize the educators—and all the school staff—who help care for, encourage, guide, and support the young people in our community. 🍎

Many of the clients who walk through our doors spend their days pouring into students. We hear about the long hours, the endless responsibilities, the celebrations, and the difficult days that follow you home.

Your work reaches far beyond lessons and classrooms. You help create safe spaces, notice when a student needs extra support, celebrate growth that others may not see, and shape the future of our community one child at a time.

To every teacher, paraprofessional, counselor, administrator, office professional, bus driver, cafeteria worker, custodian, coach, school nurse, and support staff member: thank you for everything you carry and everything you give. 🤍

What did we bring home from our FarmHouse Fresh® training day? A lot more than new product knowledge. 🌿

One message stayed with us throughout the day: thoughtful recommendations begin with listening.

We explored ways to make consultations more personal, connect products with each client’s actual needs, improve how we display and explain our retail collection, and incorporate FarmHouse Fresh® skincare products into meaningful treatment experiences.

We also received education on advanced treatment techniques, including a demonstration of their new professional peel collection. We’re still learning and carefully considering what may be a good fit for Awaken—because adding something new should always have a clear benefit for our clients.

Our goal is not to simply place another product on a shelf. It is to understand what you need, explain your options, and help you choose something that genuinely supports your skin, body, or self-care routine.

A fresh chapter is beginning at Awaken Wellness Day Spa. 🌿

We are so happy to officially welcome Kristy as she makes Awaken her full-time spa home!

Kristy is both a licensed massage therapist and cosmetologist, bringing additional massage and facial availability along with the thoughtful, personalized care our clients have come to expect.

To prepare for this next chapter, we recently attended a full day of regional education with FarmHouse Fresh® skincare. We spent the day learning more about client consultations and connection, product knowledge, treatment techniques, retail presentation, and their new professional peel collection (coming soon)!

We returned home inspired, full of ideas, and excited about what we can bring to Awaken this fall and beyond. Over the next few weeks, we’ll share more from our experience; including the education, the animals, and the mission behind many of the products we use and carry.
