As of this page's inception (9/29/2020) I, Max, am currently enrolled in Esthetic Institute's Nail technology course. Tentative Graduation date of Dec 5 will garner me my certification to become a nail tech. Soon after that the, I will take my State Board exam to gain my license officially making me a cosmetically trained nail technician. PSA: Nail Technicians are NOT medically licensed or trained to remove ingrown toenails, warts, or any other nail or surrounding skin diseases. Your nail tech should NEVER diagnosis you and should only refer you to your primary care physician or a dermatologist. Under no circumstance will a nail tech perform a procedure on you, NOR can you or a doctor give them written or verbal permission to do so.
I created this collage in class a while back to show off different nail shapes and I chose to make it out of work that I have done!

Just about a year ago, I did these nails (though I posted them in September 😅) now they’re all fresh and cleaned up! They’re no longer the bulky mess they once were… this is growth 😩

As much as I don’t like using regular nail polish, having to re-acclimate myself with it I’m really starting to find my appreciation for a simple polish.
