Natasha Mohammed Biography

Natasha presents over 20 years of experience as a top Hairstylist, specializing in bridal party and formal events up-do’s, coloring, cutting, highlighting, and hair extensions. Currently, Natasha is one of the lead Hairstylists at Rodi Salon in Vienna, Virginia.

In 1994, Natasha Mohammed migrated from the island of Trinidad to the United States in pursuit of a career in the hair and beauty industry as a stylist. Natasha’s career began as a shampoo assistant, and ever since, she loves every moment of her true passion for hair styling.

With the help of her loved ones, Natasha attended the prestigious school of Grahm Webb Academy in Arlington, Virginia. While attending the academy full-time, Natasha worked part time at her first salon, Cynia. Upon completion of her degree, Natasha was placed on the floor as a hairstylist amongst 3 other top stylist at that time. She was afforded the opportunity to work with these ladies, who gifted her their experience and knowledge that blossomed Natasha into the master hairstylist she is today. Natasha quickly followed her dreams to become one of the top updo and hair colorist in the Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland area.

Throughout Natasha’s career, she has worked in fashion shows, weddings, and events across the United States. Natasha passion extends to continually obtaining training and certifications, in addition to keeping herself educated with the latest in celebrity red carpet up do’s, colors, and haircuts. Natasha enjoys doing make overs on clients who asks for a change because it keeps her creativity flowing.

What sets Natasha apart from the rest of the stylist is that she listens and communicates with her clients. Natasha’s great work is proven by the fact that since the day she became a hairstylist the clients that have been with her still is and that says a lot!!! Furthermore, her client’s commitment extends to traveling internationally and from all over the U.S to have their hair done by Natasha.

Today was my first time going to Rodi Salon and I LOVED it!! Natasha was fantastic. She was very thorough in her consultation, listened and explained how to take care of my hair and really educated me on proper products to use....but was not pushy at all! I wished we would have taken a before and after picture because it was really great to see what a not good haircut looks like and then to have Natasha know exactly what she was doing and really bring life back into my hair. I will be returning for sure!!! So glad I found this Salon....also everyone in the salon was soooo nice and had great customer service!! ~~~Lara

Awesome color and cut by Natasha! Yesterday was my first visit to Rodi Salon and the experience was top notch. I hadn't had my hair cut or colored for way too long just because I didn't feel like taking the time to find a new stylist. I'm glad I finally looked and I'm thankful I found Rodi. I hadn't gotten a haircut in 4 months and wanted to from messy shoulder length layers to a short, manageable cut. Natasha was quick to show me pictures of cuts that met all my requirements. The interpretation of the picture on me, though a slightly different from my expectation, is chic and works well on my face. I am thrilled with my hair right now. Natasha (and not of the Bullwinkle fame) is the best colorist and blow out queen around. She has been with me longer than my marriage lasted. 9 years on the marriage, 13 with Natasha....Started with her when she was at Cynia Salon (now closed), then dragged myself out to Reston (ugh) until she joined up with Rodi, who owns Rodi salon. Personality plus. The best part: she's honest, she knows color, she is amazing at a blow out and her costs are very very reasonable. some of my crazy friends pay so much more and I don't know why!! The salon is clean, bright, well maintained and has excellent products. Waxing done as well (thank goodness).Some chicas hate their hair; i happen to LOVE my hair and even though I waltz in looking like a tornado flew over my head and the gray hair sprouting out, i leave looking 10 years younger....no kidding. Natasha is the queen. If I ever get married again, she's doing my hair the second time around!~~~Lori
