Some heroes wear ties. Some wear work boots. Some wear uniforms. Some wear aprons. Some simply show up day after day, carrying more than anyone ever sees.
Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, bonus dads, uncles, mentors, and father figures whose love is often spoken through sacrifice rather than words. The ones who stayed late, got up early, fixed what was broken, gave what they had, and somehow found a way to keep going.
For many of us, the older we get, the more we understand the weight they carried. The lessons. The protection. The quiet prayers. The steady presence.
If your father is still here, give him a hug, make the call, send the text.
If he’s no longer with you, may his love, wisdom, and memories continue to guide your steps.
And for those whose Father’s Day feels complicated, heavy, or incomplete, we’re holding space for you too.
Today, we honor the men who loved, led, protected, taught, sacrificed, and showed up.
