🗣️ Nails were never cheap, your tech was being forced to work for next to nothing and most likely had no legal recourse due to the immigration systems designed to make the American Dream unachievable.
🗣️ Nails are a luxury service and a privilege.
🗣️ It’s okay if you can’t afford to keep your nails done, times are hard.
🗣️ Talking down on foreign born nail technicians is not and will never be okay. Our industry was built on their backs with nearly no recognition.
🗣️ Calling specific nail styles “ghetto” is and always will be racism.
🗣️ Expecting insane artwork in an hour is unrealistic, plan your appointment accordingly.
🗣️ A French is not a “simple design”.
🗣️ Private techs who talk down on salon based techs, and vice versa, are lame.
🗣️ Respecting your beauty providers and recognizing the hours of education required for them to have a chair for you is non-negotiable.
