There are very few insurance plans that cover massage therapy.

If your plan covers it, we will absolutely provide the notes and invoices to you so that you can submit a claim for reimbursement. (Half the massage companies/practitioners out there aren’t even writing treatment notes btw)

It’s no secret the medical & insurance industries have flaws. The massage industry has flaws as well.

Unfortunately for many people that need quality care but the cash price of treatment is out of reach, health insurance isn’t going to step in and help.

The chiropractic field has recently enjoyed some enhancement in their acceptance by insurance companies, but that hasn’t trickled over to massage therapy.

Operating without the restrictions of insurance allows us to provide one on one care. You’ll never find us massaging 2-3 people at once to meet the volume quota that insurance-based providers are forced to maintain in order to generate enough money per hour to keep their doors open. (Yes,insurance pays a marginal reimbursement compared to their actual cost too)

We hope this provides some insight about why we don’t accept insurance for payment.

We always highly recommend the Advanced Fuller School of Massage for low cost treatment. Many of us received our training there, and the students that are providing massages are in the very last stage of the program before applying for their license. There are also many fully licensed LMT’s you can book with as well.
