We had been lightening up her hair for a while but decided it was time to stop fighting her natural pigment.
I gave her a deep, rich base with some lighter pieces to contrast and a new haircut! 😍

This is session 1 of both a color and cut correction! ⁣

She went elsewhere for a “V” shaped cut and what hair was originally down to her waist ended up as what you see in the second photo. ⁣
⁣
They ended up cutting about 7 inches total from her length (when she hoped to only get 1 inch off) and the cut itself was very uneven and choppy. ⁣
⁣
Her goal is to end up with an “ashy” blonde but because she had outgrown dye from mid shaft to ends, we knew it’s going to take time to get to that. ⁣
⁣
It is still very “warm” but when a client understands the process and is committed to investing in their hair, it is always worth it. ⁣
⁣

Yes, her hair is short. ⁣
Yes, I already have all the materials necessary to lighten up her hair. ⁣
Yes, this haircut took me 15 minutes to correct. ⁣
