Wow..5 years ago today I signed the lease to my salon.I think I've aged 50 years in the last 5 🥴
FIVE YEARS OF HARD WORK AND DEDICATION.🫠This place has almost squeezed the life out of me..but in those moments of doubt, I remember I don't HAVE to , I'm blessed to GET to🥹
There have been sooooo many ups and downs , blessings and lessons.ALOT of tears and humbling experiences , aggravation ..but even more laughs , smiles, wonderful conversations, and mostly trust.Trust in the people I've shared this space with.Whether it was someone who helped me , someone who allowed me to alter their appearance, someone who took a chance on me and my salon, and took a chance on themselves and set up their business inside, and even the one's who broke my trust..every single person who's crossed the threshold of Beauty & the Beach hair studio.. I THANK YOU 🙏🏻🩵🧜🏼‍♀️
But most importantly I thank God .Without Him I am NOTHING.He led me there, and I KNEW I was "home" when I walked in. So in blind faith I signed on the dotted line.And the rest is history ..pandemic and all.Still surviving, whether some people think I should or not🤷🏼‍♀️.It ain't over till God tells me it's time to move on...so here's to 5 years on a godwink and a prayer😉🙏🏻
