Kempsville High School and the Entrepreneurship and Business Academy are proud to announce that Jason Barnes and the Haygood and Northampton Chick-Fil-A location staff members will be honored as 2023 Virginia Beach City Public Schools Model Partners. Jason Barnes and the CFA Leadership Teams from both locations have contributed significantly to Kempsville High School over the past 7 years. Some highlights include: hosting job shadow experiences, serving as mentors for the INCubator and ACCELeratorEDU programs, serving as a guest speaker through the KHS Leadership Course, providing CFA coupons the celebrate KHS student academic success, and so much more! We left the 2021-2022 school year not knowing the future of Orca~Sunn. We didn’t have any funds that would allow us to continue our business. However, after many weeks of hard work, we are happy to announce that Orca~Sunn will be continuing on through the 2022-2023 school year! We would like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout our journey, and we cannot wait for you to see what we will bring to you in the future!
