Aqua Salon and Spa reflects Alaida Melley's love for the beach. The Dominican Republic native designed Aqua to capture the joy she feels meditating on the waves one minute and playing around the next. Natural cork flooring and a mirage effect, along with an energized team of seasoned hairstylists set the tone for the Aqua experience. Next to beauty and skincare, Melley's second love is teaching. Livestreaming hair and makeup videos complement a beauty bar/makeup station. Aqua offers Osmosis and Unite products because of their proven sensitivity to users and the environment. Aqua stylists are versed in all hair types but each professional has her area of expertise including color, updos, and taming and properly cutting curly hair. Aqua gladly reserves Sunday and Monday for private events such as girls night out and bridal and birthday parties. Melley is both new to the beauty business and a product of it. (Her grandfather owned a barber shop; her mother is an Aqua stylist with 30 years experience making people happy.) A print and television model, and computer savvy graphic designer, Melley welcomes clients with unique needs. Aqua is where she feeds her obsession with skincare's advanced technology and channels her desire to help people attain outward beauty and an inner glow.

We wanted to inform you that we have made a difficult decision to close our doors at the Loehmann's Plaza location after 13 years. We have decided to no longer offer hair services, but we will continue to offer spa services at our new location, (see below).
