A FULL weekend. 🤍

Family. Friends. BABIES. 🥹
Old friendships and new little lives.
Farm stands, farmers markets and vegetables that actually taste like vegetables. 🍅🌽
Small businesses, local shops and a little shopping… because obviously. 😉
Good food, dessert, ice cream in the car and absolutely no regrets.
A great workout, a few new challenges and a reminder of just how grateful I am for a strong, healthy body that lets me keep saying YES to life. 💪🏼
And somewhere in between all of it… lots of laughter, conversation, hugs, memories and simply being together.

This weekend felt like one of those little snapshots of life that reminds me how much goodness can fit into just a few days.

There were people we’ve known forever, people we don’t get to see nearly enough, family gathered around a brand-new baby, meals around tables, wandering through markets, supporting people who are building something of their own, and plenty of ordinary moments that somehow become the ones you remember.

And maybe that’s what I loved most about it.

Nothing fancy required. Just people you love, places with a story, good food, strong bodies, new babies, old friends and time together. 🤍

We came with empty bags and left with fresh produce, flowers, a few fun finds, some VERY special vintage Pyrex 😉, sore muscles, full bellies and even fuller hearts.

And then there’s always that last look back… two people standing on the porch waving goodbye. 🥹🤍

Small business supporting small business… with a little sweat and a whole lotta history. 💪🏼🤍

Super proud of my longtime friend Chris! A friendship that started out in college and nightclubs somehow turned into fitness, heavy weights, and ALL the shenanigans in between. 😂

He may not have known back then exactly where life would take him, but somewhere along the way, fitness became more than something he did — it became a passion. Health, wellness, hard work and a whole lot of heavy weights eventually created a future… and now he’s the owner of this incredible training studio, Dunamis Strength & Fitness.

Today we had the gym all to ourselves, worked through some familiar favorites, tried a few new things, laughed a lot, and GOT. IT. DONE. 💪🏼

And apparently sleds are NOT just for winter. 🛷😳😂 Let’s just say these hammies may be crying when I try to get out of the car tomorrow!

There really is something special about watching an old friend build something he loves — especially when you’re a fellow small-business owner and understand just how much heart, work and grit goes into creating something of your own.

From the farm stand to the salon chair… it’s all connected. 🌱

We spent the morning wandering local farmers markets, filling our bags with fresh produce, flowers, sourdough (and okay…a few homemade pies 😂🥧) while supporting the farmers and small businesses behind them.

As a small business owner, I LOVE supporting other small businesses—but today also had me thinking about something I love about

Davines’ commitment to regenerative organic agriculture goes beyond what we take from the earth—it considers how we care for the soil, biodiversity and the ecosystems that sustain us. 🌎🌱

Not every tomato or squash at a farmers market is necessarily grown using regenerative practices, but there’s something about meeting the people who grow our food and seeing what came from the soil that makes the connection feel tangible.

Whether it’s the products I choose for Robyns Nest or where we spend our dollars on a Saturday morning, I love supporting people and businesses who care about what they produce, how they produce it, and the world they leave behind. 🤍

Today that looked like local farmers, fresh food, small businesses…and VERY full market bags. 🍅🌽🥬🍑🌻

And maybe three little pies. But who’s counting? 😂🥧

Found the CUTEST little boutique today and, well… girl math won again. 😂

I’m a sucker for fun clothes AND a sale, so clearly I never stood a chance. And judging by the bags… I did my part. 😉🛍️

But truly, as a small business owner myself, I LOVE discovering another local business worth shouting about. There’s something special about shopping small—the people, the personality, the passion behind what they’ve created. 🤍
