For over 11 years as salon owner and 32 years in the industry our first love — beauty and business — has continued to thrive, opening doors for me to step into another passion deeply rooted in my family history: food and hospitality.

This journey began generations ago with my great-grandmother, who owned her very own backyard farm where my mother and aunties learned the value of hard work and homegrown love. It continued with my beloved grandmother, who proudly served military soldiers at galas on the Norfolk base until her retirement, and through my own experience serving students within the Virginia Beach school district food services program.

Growing up in my mother’s kitchen, I watched her every move, memorized the flavors, the techniques, and the love poured into every meal. Today, I’ve created recipes of my own and made the decision to finally share them with the world — inspired by the encouragement of my mother, family, and friends.
