Box black dye is one of the hardest colors to remove from the hair—and this transformation was no exception! My client had dyed her hair black six months ago and was ready for a bold change: pink hair.

This was a long, careful process that started with a Malibu DDL treatment, followed by gradual lightening using Wella and CHI's RR High Lift Cream Lightener. The goal was to lift the hair while preserving enough warmth to create a beautiful pink-toned result.

After the first session, we achieved a gorgeous blend of soft pink roots melting into vibrant pink-red lengths. A huge transformation and a great foundation for her pink hair journey!
