Quick Update

Hi Kids Kuts Families,

Last week was a WILD ONE! The road-paving project was absolute chaos for all of us, but we survived!! I want to thank you all for your patience!

This upcoming Saturday is booked already! I can't believe it! Thank you for all your support!! I highly encourage you all to book your appointments in advance. It's harder and harder to book same day or even 1-2 days out, especially with Easter coming!

As I mentioned last week, our youngest daughter, Tristyn, started a part-time job at Playa Bowls. Although we are sorry she won't be in the salon as often, this works out much better for our family because it is so close to our house and her school.
I am VERY happy to report I replaced Tristyn with Ryleigh Best Friend, Emily! Emily is a new mom to a baby boy. She started on Thursday with Tristyn and had things down pat by Friday! I couldn't be happier to have her!! I absolutely love growing our KKV family!

Easter:

With Easter right around the corner, now is the time to book! Seriously. Book ASAP.

The weeks leading up to the holiday are always extremely busy, and Saturdays have already been filling by Wednesday, but this week we were booked on Sunday!!. If you’re hoping to get in before Easter, I recommend securing your appointment as soon as possible so you don’t miss out on the times that work best for you.

I am NOT a fan of sending more than one email in a week, but this roadwork will give us all a nervous breakdown!

Several road construction projects are planned for the week of
March 10-13, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The following roadways will be affected:
Somerdale Road, White Horse Road, Burnt Mill Road, Cooper Road, Kresson-Gibbsboro Road, and Gibbsboro Road.
It is advisable to avoid these areas if possible, to allow for additional travel time, and to follow all designated detour routes.

For further information or inquiries, please contact Camden County Public Works at (856) 566-2980. Please note that dates and times are subject to change

TUESDAY, MARCH 10th AND WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11th:

White Horse Road & Burnt Mill Road – 7:00am to 4:00pm.
Arawak Paving will be milling and paving.

There will be a PARTIAL ROAD CLOSURE eastbound on White Horse Road between Burnt Mill Road & Lucas Lane, and a FULL ROAD CLOSURE of westbound White Horse Road between Lucas Lane & Burnt Mill Rd.

Quick Update

Hi Kids Kuts Families,

I hope you all survived yesterday’s snow day and this morning’s delay! I’m hoping that was the last of it for the season. ❄️

We will be opening today at Noon, and we actually have quite a bit of availability due to cancellations — especially this afternoon.

Ryleigh and Shannon will be on the floor from 12–5:30, and Lindsay will be joining them at 3:30.

If you’ve been trying to get in, today might be a great chance to grab a spot! You can book HERE.

Good news-

Amanda is feeling much better and will be back in this week! Her hours will be:
• Wednesday: 11–5:30
• Friday: 10–5:30
• Saturday: 9–11:30

Her appointments are already filling quickly, so if you’ve been waiting for Amanda, I’d recommend grabbing a spot soon!

Saturdays-

Saturdays have been booking up by Wednesday, so please keep this in mind and try to schedule your Saturday appointments as far in advance as possible — especially with Easter coming up.

We will also be open this Sunday from 9–12:30, with Shannon and Lindsay on the floor. I highly recommend booking your appointment as soon as possible because that day will fill up quickly! Book Here

Our March schedule is below, and we will be releasing the April schedule soon. We just have a few small tweaks to make before it goes live.

Sundays

While we are not generally open on Sundays, there are times when a stylist may choose to work to help with overflow from a busy Saturday. These hours are typically 9–12:30 or 10–1:30.
Sunday availability is completely the stylist’s choice, and they set their own hours when they decide to open time.

This weekend is a great example — Saturday only has a few openings left, so Shannon and Lindsay have chosen to work Sunday from 9:00–12:30 to help accommodate families. Book Here

While we may share a name, we do not share:

• hours

We are our own small, family-run business, and all decisions, standards, and experiences are specific to our Voorhees location.

Salon Safety Reminder (Very Important and I will never stop posting this section)

Even though we regularly send emails and post signs asking children not to spin the chairs in the salon, we recently had a serious accident. A child was struck in the eye by the handle of our frog chair. Their eye immediately swelled and began turning black and blue.

We completely understand that accidents happen — children are children. However, I am honestly begging you to please stay vigilant while you are in the salon.

Please refrain from scrolling on your phone while your child is running from chair to chair, climbing on equipment, or having a difficult moment during their haircut. These situations can turn dangerous very quickly, not only for your child but also for others around them.

Our goal is for Kids Kuts Voorhees to remain a fun, safe, and happy place for everyone. Your attention and partnership truly make a difference.

Appointments & Timing
• Each child requires their own appointment slot.
• One child = 15 minutes, two children = 30 minutes, etc.
• Please arrive on time so we can stay on schedule for all of our families.

Feeling Under the Weather?
If you or your child(ren) are sick, please reschedule your appointment. Children should be fever- and vomit-free for 24 hours (without medication) before coming in.
When sick appointments aren’t rescheduled, it can unfortunately create a ripple effect for our stylists, their families, and other clients. We truly appreciate your understanding and consideration.

Check-In Reminder
Please don't forget to text to check in when you arrive in the parking lot for your appointment. We will let you know when we are ready for you. This system allows us to control the chaos. If there are too many people in the salon, the noise level rises, and the children become overstimulated. In addition, this lessens the chance of anyone spreading or catching a common cold. Germs are real in the salon. lol

Just a Quick Update

Hi Everyone,

It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve sent an email — honestly, things have just been calm and steady around here, which is always a blessing!

I did want to give you a quick update that **Amanda is currently home sick with Flu A.** She’ll be out the rest of this week and is hoping to be back later next week once she’s feeling better.

Ryleigh has been working her way through the schedule and reaching out to families with upcoming appointments. If she leaves you a message, it’s really important that you call us back to let us know you received it and understand that the appointment has been canceled. This helps us make sure no one accidentally shows up.

PLEASE remember Ryleigh is just the messenger. Yelling at her really upsets her and me, as a business owner and her mom. Let's try not to do that LOL.
