PREP + AFTERCARE GUIDE
🤎 BEFORE YOUR SPRAY TAN
24–48 HOURS BEFORE
Exfoliate your entire body with a non-oil-based exfoliant.
Pay special attention to elbows, knees, ankles, hands and feet.
Shave 8–12 hours before your appointment when possible.
Wax 24–48 hours before your appointment.
Remove any old self-tanner.
THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT
Arrive with clean, dry skin.
Please avoid:
❌ Lotion or body oil
❌ Deodorant
❌ Perfume or body spray
❌ Makeup on areas being sprayed
❌ Heavy sunscreen
❌ Other skincare products on the body
Wear: loose, dark clothing and loose-fitting shoes after your appointment.
Tip: Don't exfoliate or shave immediately before your spray tan. Give your skin time to settle.
🌴 AFTER YOUR SPRAY TAN
WHILE YOUR TAN DEVELOPS
Follow the recommended development time given at your appointment.
Avoid showering, swimming and excessive sweating during development.
Avoid tight clothing that may rub against your tan.
YOUR FIRST SHOWER
Use lukewarm water.
Gently rinse with your hands.
Do not scrub or use a loofah.
Avoid soap during your first rinse unless instructed otherwise.
Pat your skin dry—don't rub.
Your tan may look lighter after your first rinse. Don't worry! Your color will continue to develop.
KEEP YOUR TAN GLOWING ✨
Moisturize your skin daily.
Use a gentle, tan-friendly moisturizer.
Take shorter, lukewarm showers.
Avoid harsh scrubs and exfoliating products.
Avoid hot tubs, long hot baths and excessive chlorine.
Shave gently to help prolong your color.
Stay hydrated!

A spray tan does not provide sun protection. Always use sunscreen when exposed to the sun.
