Waco Hair Designs

We would like to thank the City of Waco for choosing Hair Designs as a recipient of a grant from the Small Business Recovery Fund. As a local business for over 40 years, this pandemic closed our doors for more than a month.

Small locally owned businesses all across the country have closed due to lack of business or lack of income to keep their business afloat. Hair Designs will continue to serve the Waco Community and we are so proud to call Waco our home!

📣Attention Small Businesses: The City of Waco and McLennan County have approved the use of funds to create the Small Business Recovery Fund for local small businesses. Applications and guidelines will be available tomorrow at 9 a.m. at CovidWaco.com.

To qualify, businesses must have:
> 10 or Fewer Employees
> Physical Location in McLennan County
> Experienced Loss of Income Due to COVID-19
> Loss Occurred between March 17 and April 30

Application reviews will begin on May 8 and funds will be released starting May 15.

HAIR DESIGNS WILL BE OPEN FRIDAY MAY 8TH FROM 11:00 am- 7 PM.

We are excited and ready to see our customers again. We are so grateful to all of our customers and stylist who have been patient during this time.

However we do ask our loyal customers to follow a few guidelines in order to ensure the safety of our stylist, their families, and other customers as well.

1. Please refrain from making an appointment/walk-in if you feel ill (such as a cough or fever), if you have been around anyone who has had similar symptoms within 14 days, or if you are living with anyone who has recently been sick or quarantined.

2. We encourage those receiving services to wear a mask. Also, please disinfect your hands with hand sanitizer or wash them thoroughly with soap and water prior to entering the salon.

3. To limit the amount of people in the salon. We are only allowing ONE client per stylist.

4. All clients are required to make an appointment.

5. Appointments will have to wait in their vehicle until we call them into the salon. In an effort to maintain social distancing we ask that no clients wait in our waiting area.

By cooperating with the above rules we can work together to help reduce the risk of infection for everyone. As a business we are following all safety guidelines to ensure sterile and safe environment for all.

Per the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and state orders, our hair salon will have to remain closed for the time being. These orders are in effect until April 30, 2020. We will try our best to keep everyone updated and we hope to see everyone soon ❤️

Please resist the COVID-19 DIY haircut 💇

Due to recent restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic Hair Designs will be closed in accordance with the Mclennan County shelter in place order.

We pray for all of the local small businesses who are closed and will not be able to serve the Waco community.

We pray for our customers who are unable to work and have bills and children to take care of.

We ask for prayers for our employees during this time. We have not closed our doors for more than a couple days in almost 40 years.

As soon as we are able to open, we will be there waiting on all of our loyal customers.

If you are feeling ill or are more susceptible to any type of virus please visit us at a later date and we will be more than happy to get you fixed up.
